After I booked this wedding, I learned the beach location at the hotel I booked was unavailable, so I had to search for the perfect beach location for this very important "Double Wedding" to occur. I happened to call Linda at Wicky's and ask if her beach at Wicky's was for a Double Wedding. She said " of course"!  She was 100% there for me and my clients for all of the details that we needed to be "just perfect" to honor this joining of two couple. These were "best friends" who had grown up together and always dreamed of getting married at the same time. For me every wedding is so very important regardless of the number and Linda showed me that she feels the same way too in the process of planning this small but, very important day for my clients.

We just hosted our wedding ceremony and dinner reception at Wicky's on July 16. We were extremely happy with our entire event, from ceremony to reception. Linda Burchett is an amazing and beautiful wedding coordinator who worked with me from beginning to end; and all by phone and e-mail! She assisted me with transportation; favors; met with me before and helped my children walk down the aisle. The ceremony was beautiful and the food and service was excellent. Wicky's is a great beachfront restaurant. We were situated on their deck for dinner with a wonderful breeze. Dinner was after sunset. Just amazing - loved the friendly and attentive staff. Our group was a little crazy with the alcohol flow, but the staff took them all in great humor. THANK YOU, WICKY'S STAFF!!!! The food was DELICIOUS. The guest couldn't get enough of the hors d'œuvres (shrimp ceviche shots, chimichangas, lobster mac-n- cheese). Dinner was excellent. We had their USDA filet and fresh fish. The after-dinner dancing and fire show was so much fun; even our photographer was having a blast. A couple of our guest said they even went back to Wicky's for breakfast and the food was consistently excellent. Best American breakfast they had in Playa. Again, thank you Linda and Wicky's staff for some amazing memories and yummy food!

After not being able to get the type of ceremony and reception we had envisioned from our resort, we searched for an alternative and luckily found Wicky's. We wanted an upscale spot that was on the beach and one that provided some flexibility in terms of bar service and food. Due to the size of our group we were able to reserve the patio and part of the restaurant and it could not have been better. The Sales Manager and staff were very professional and the food was awesome! If you want a unique spot for your event we would highly recommend it!

I just wanted to drop a line to thank you both for the fantastic job that you and Wicky's did at our wedding. Everyone had a great time. The food and location were awesome and service was outstanding. People also loved the ceremony, in particular the statement on love, commitment and priority that the minister stated. We had our wedding at Wicky's on February 19th and we probably can't describe well enough what a great experience it was. We had about 70 people there for a long weekend and a beach wedding. We live in Miami Beach so we had to plan the wedding from there but their Director of Sales & Marketing, Linda, was a HUGE help. She pulled everything together for us, had regular conference calls, and organized all the necessary vendors. If you've been married before, you understand what kind of stress relief this was, and if you haven't, then take my word for it. She was perfect. Everything went smoothly and I would highly recommend Wicky's and Linda if you're planning on a destination wedding. Additionally, it was much more cost effective to have a wedding there than it ever would have been at a comparable place in Miami Beach. If you're considering a destination wedding in Playa del Carmen. You have to check in to see what they can do for you.

We had recently celebrated our wedding reception at Wicky's and all we can say is if anyone is thinking of where to have a perfect meal don't look any further then Wicky's. We had ours on Feb 2nd 2011 and all the planning was done though Linda and all via e mail and telephone calls. Linda is amazing the service she provides people is top notch, does not matter if you are a party of 20 or 200 she is great. The food well like everything else at Wicky's the food is also amazing does not matter if you are looking for a great breakfast for an amazing dinner or just some good old comfort food while sitting out on the beach. The staff will always be looking to give you the best service they can and that they truly do.

Wicky's is a fabulous restaurant in Playa del Carmen, and is in a great location (near the main strip of bars/restaurants). We had our wedding there and it was perfect! We had the ceremony on the beach outside, a cocktail hour on the terrace, and our dinner reception in their VIP room. The food is delicious - we had a selection of hors d'ouevres after the ceremony, and a choice of steak, chicken, or fish for dinner. All of our guests raved about the food. The service was great - none of our guests ever had an empty cocktail/wine glass. Linda at Wicky's was our planner and was wonderful to work with. She handled working with all of our vendors (florist, wedding singer, DJ, lounge furniture rental, bakery, the officiant, etc), which was absolutely invaluable when attempting to plan a wedding in another country. They definitely exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Wicky's just for dinner, as well as for a wedding locale.

Excellent food & beverage! Very upscale and beautiful right in the heart of Playa Del Carmen! We had our wedding on the beach. BEAUTIFUL! The staff pay attention to detail, are very easy to work with and made our day very special. Linda is an awesome lady!

In December of the same year, my husband and I were in another resort (planned 2 years prior) and ended up coming back to Wicky's for the beach, the service, and their great chef from Colorado! Such fun!!

My wife and I first discovered Wicky's by accident on our last trip to Playa and were blown away by how great the food was. Without a doubt the filet was the best steak we had ever eaten. We were so taken by the food, service and beauty of the restaurant we rented it out in May for our wedding reception. The manager, Linda, was great to work with and turned our reception into the best reception we could have imagined. The food was undeniably the best in Playa and the service was second to none.

Everybody has a horror story about planning their wedding reception, but that was not the case for us. The ease in which Wicky's put together an incredible menu and open bar options made the process seamless. We started the night with a cocktail hour on the beachfront patio with an array of beautiful appetizers and margaritas/beers. We moved into the air conditioned restaurant that has panoramic views of the ocean/beach thanks to Wicky's glass walls. The meals were better than you would expect in any high-end restaurant in Canada or the US. Never did anybody have an empty glass and the staff did everything they could to make our time there the best experience we could have. One guest got injured (dance injury) and was tended to immediately by three staff and the manager. I can't recommend Wicky's enough and would tell anybody who wants a great meal or the perfect wedding reception to check out Wicky's right away.

Wicky's hosted our welcome party for our wedding and exceeded all of our expectations. We had 150 guests and they did a wonderful job from the food to the service to the entertainment. We were well taken care of and highly recommend it for events, dinner and beach lounging.

Just returned from Playa and attended Wicky's 3 different times. One of which was a rehearsal dinner. They did a fabulous job with the service and the food was amazing. I know the mother of the groom and said the staff was very attentive with their needs. So amazing that we went their 2 more times for lunch, it was just as wonderful and a great location. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of sharing our wedding with our family at Wicky's in Playa. There are not enough words to express how impressed we were with them. From the food (THE BEST DINNER WE'VE HAD IN YEARS!!!), to the location (Beachfront in beautiful Playa Del Carmen), to the decor, to the amazing staff that we had the opportunity to meet and work with, there was NOTHING that could have beat our experience at Wicky's. We we're scheduled to be married on the terrace at Wicky's on Sunday, Nov 8, but a little gal named Tropical Storm Ida decided to show up that weekend. Needless to say, we had to scramble and make a plan B. EVERYONE at Wicky's pitched in to help speed up the arrangements. We want to make sure to say a special thank you to Linda, Samm, Damon, Mario!
